Call a taxi to go to the Beijing West Railway Station by your self. Train ticket is on our arrangement and will be delivered to your hotel in advance. Tickets we bought are for soft sleeper, 4 berths in one compartment, you might have to share rooms with other passengers. Train No.: Z 19. Stay overnight on the train. 11 hours on train. Please notice that there are two railway stations in Beijing: Beijing West Railway Station and Beijing Railway Station, the Beijing/Xian train departs from Beijing West! If you need extra service of hotel/staion transfer, we can arrange this and tell you the extra cost. |

Upon arrival at the railway station, pickup by our English speaking tour guide and drive to hotel to freshup and have breakfast. Then drive to take our day tour. In the morning, we will visit Shaanxi Provincial History Museum, the purpose is for you to have a basic idea what is the highlight in this two days program. Then we visit ancient city wall and Bell Tower in the afternoon. Optional activities at night: The famous night market near Drum Tower and Muslim Quarter is quite near your hotel, recommend you to walk around. It is an area of interesting handicraft shops, muslim restaurants and vendors and narrow streets. |
Xian Bell Tower | Built in 1384 A.D, the Bell Tower boasts a history of over 600 years. It is the largest and best-preserved of its kind in China. Visiting the Bell Tower, you can still see the Big Iron Bell which was made in Ming Dynasty, 2,500 kilograms in weight. | Ancient City Wall | It is the most well-preserved ancient military defensive systems in the world. Continue your city tour in Xian. Visit Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum, Huaqing Hot Spring and Big Wild Goose Pagoda. In the evening, be transferred to train station. Train No.: Z20, soft sleeper, leave Xian at 20h16, arrive Beijing at 07h17 next day. Stay overnight on the train. |
