| Pickup from your hotel in Guilin. Drive about 3 hours to Chengyang, visit Wind & Rain Bridge, then drive to Congjiang, stay overnight in Congjiang. Part of the road Sanjiang/Congjiang is always under construction, please prepare some food in advance. |

Today's Activities: |
| Walk around the Basha village and rice paddies. Lots of activities happen in the early morning. All houses built from the mountain top to the river valley. Meet Miao people in traditional dress, go into families to be their guests. After simple lunch at local family, drive 2 hours to Zhaoxing. It is an area of drum towers, flower bridges. The best photo place for a panaramic picture of Zhaoxing is: the junior high school on the mountain top. Find a good place and wait for the light of sunset. |

Dong Drama Performance: The opera troupes in Zhaoxing is well known for their folk drama. Their literary is abundant with narrative poems, pipa songs and epics. Usually the performance is hosted in a traditional drum tower at night. |

| Walk around Zhaoxing in the morning. Continue our tekking for 1 hour to TangAn, a village on the other side of mountain, famous for rice paddies and a good local museum of Dong Ethnic. Continure your drive for 2 hours to Longsheng rice terraces, stay overnight in village on mountain top. |

| Enjoy the view of the Morning sunrise on rice paddies (if weather permit). Free time to walk around the villages of Zhuang and Yao. Later today, drive 3 hours back to Guilin. Leisure on your own at the rest of the day. |

Evening cruise on Li River and surrounding lakes: Guilin is gifted with water. Two Rivers and Four Lake Scenic Aare is a park-like scenic area which can’t be missed out.
