Dear Lisa, Well we made it home! We had a fantastic time – I am very tired now though it was a great trip but very full on and fast paced. Beijing was lovely - loved the wall and the forbidden city etc - quite a nice clean place ( a HUGE thank you to Yoshi -he was very knowledgeable and very friendly -a fantastic guide who assisted us greatly )
Then Train to Xian - for the terracotta warriors - they were fantastic to see - and to learn about them and their tombs - even met the old farmer that actually found the first one - - the train was fun and much to our surprise the food was great - once we pulled out our handy phrase book -for chicken and beef - we were fine!)
(Grace was an absolute charm and delight - she assisted in everyway possible and went beyond the call of duty in every regard - she also helped so much with Sally. )
In Yangshuo - yes the hotel was very ordinary ( there was only cold water ) but that was ok - but I would choose the other one where poss - just a tip - but added to the adventure as I really enjoyed the shower at the le meridian.
In Shanghai - where we met Lemon - (she is a beautiful lady - who I had much in common with - we really enjoyed her company so much - another real asset to your business alliance)
Here are some of the photos of the trip.
Thank you so much Lisa for all your assistance - it has been marvelous - don't worry people are hearing about it and I will record all on www. tripadvisor.com.au
Thanks again!
