Born in Sichuan, Steven has been surrounded by the natural beauty of this breathtaking region his entire life. With over a decade's worth of experience, Steven has long been leading groups of satisfied clients all over Sichuan and Tibet. He is particularly interested in the history, religion, and culture of this unique area and loves to share this information with the members of his groups.

Steven has not attended any university when he was a teenager, at that time he has been working as the porter for many years, he helped European passengers to carry their tripods to climb up Emei Mountain,  waiting for hours for a good picture of sunrise.   In this way, he learned to speak English from his warm-hearted foreign friends.  He might had strong accent of  'Sichuan English', but people like his attentive attitude, and handful help.

Though he has been in the industry for over a decade, Steven does not see his passion for traveling dying anytime soon. He is particularly experienced with arranging visits to local Tibetan villages in northwestern Sichuan Province, providing the perfect opportunity for personal interaction with local people. Steven also has many contacts within the nomadic population and is always willing to arrange client interaction with them. While educating his clients about various local customs and culture, he loves to joke around and make them feel comfortable in his home province. In his free time, he can be found reading books, or playing table tennis.
