It is a beautiful newly built scenic spot. There are chains of mountains, odd-shaped stones, quiet canyon and bubbling brooks.

Diaoshuihu Lake Scenic Area features mountains, water, forest, peaks, caves. The attractive scenery here is fetching in more and more tourists. On stepping into the gateway, a 10-li green corridor comes into your eyes; two mountains setting off one another, visitors walk in the valley bottom only to see green hills, which is like going boating on a green sea.

Diaoshui Lake (Diaoshuihu Fengjingqu) is located within Shanhe Town, approximately 91 kilometers from Changchun, Jilin. The scenery in the Hanging Pot Scenic Area is wonderful and the resources of wildlife in it are very luxuriant. The principal theme of the Hanging Pot Scenic Area is the limestone cave.

There are also mountains, water, forests, and caves in the scenic area. Upon entering the mountain, it is like the green 10 miles corridor. When you walk at the bottom of the valley, it is just like boating in the sea. In the end of the corridor is the highest mountain of Changchun with an elevation of 711 meters. Under the peak is the Hanging Pot Cave.

The cave is composed of Welkin, Dragon Palace and Welkin Cave. The height of the limestone cave is the highest (690 meters) in northwestern China, the fall is the biggest and the area is the largest (more than 5,000 square meters). The 32 meters high stairs in the cave is “a miracle of China”.
