Hollywood Road and Cat Street are known for its antiques shops. Antique lovers can rest assured that they would get a thing or two of their interest here. Central’s stepped ladder streets are thronged by sidewalk hawkers. Des Voeux Road are also two major streets in Central District.

The Lanes
‘The Lanes’ are two parallel streets in Central famous for their shopping stalls. The two streets, namely Li Yuen Street East and Li Yuen Street West have number of stalls selling articles like watches, clothes, shoes and luggage. The Lanes seem tailormade for people who are fond of bargain shopping.

MidLevel Escalator and Walkway System
MidLevel Escalator and Walkway System, located in Central District, is the longest outdoor covered escalator system on the planet. The system is almost 800 metres long and has vertical inclination of around 130 metres. It consists of 20 escalators and three moving walkways. The system provides direct connection between Connaught Road in Central and Conduit Roads in the MidLevel.
