2) Which peaks will be covered? Most people say that they want to hike all the way to the summit of South Peak, the highest point of Mount Huashan, but usually they will end their trip at the summit of North Peak or East Peak. That is why our tour includes 2 hours walking around North Peak after you get off the cable car.
If you want to go all the way to South Peak, our tour guide will escort you there. Kindly notice that you need to walk all the way back to North Peak by foot to take cable car. The round trips North peak to South Peak takes 4 to 5 hours walking eventually.

Chinese people take 1 hour train one day prior to the mountain foot in the evening, start to walk from the mountain foot at about 1am. The walking route is: Mountain foot - North Peak - East Peak - South Peak - East Peak - North Peak. It takes about 8 hours for walking. Then you can take cable car down the mountain. Take 1 hour train back to Xian.
