Our tour guide will make a phone call before 10pm one day prior to your hotel to check if you have checked in.
So if there is any change of your arrival flight, please contact us at +86 20 22822049 (outside China) or 020 22822049 (in China). You might ask for changing the tour to another day, or cancel the tour.
Pickup time and back to hotel time
From 08h00 to 08h30 from your hotel lobby (Our tour guide will tell you the exact pickup time in the telephone call to your hotel room one day prior), the time back to the hotel is 17h30 usually, if extra hour is requested, please tell us in advance, we might charge for extra working hours, accordingly to labor law.
Waiting notice
Sometimes our tour guide might be a couple minute late due to the traffic condition, or because some passengers do not show up in time. Your patience and understanding is highly appreciated. Our tour guide will find you via eye contact to pick you up from the crowd in the lobby. In every morning, we do it again and again. Please do not worry! We will recognize you!
Tour Itinerary:
① Pick-up from your hotel between 08h00 am and 08h30 am, and then drive to Ming Tomes (50 miles away from downtown about one hour driving).
② The thirteen Ming Tombs are the best-preserved Chinese imperial tombs with 500 years history. You will visit Changling, the head and the largest tomb of Ming Tombs, where Emperor Yongle (the first emperor in Beijing) and his Empress Xu were buried. The sightseeing on the Ming Tombs takes about 1 hour. The visit to Ming Tombs finishes at about 10:45.
③ Before having lunch (11h30 am), you will have 45 minutes for a short visit of Friend Yongsheng Jade Carving Factory. The jade carving is a famous special Chinese product, a blend of the excellent skill on carving and Chinese traditional cultures.
④ Having traditional Chinese lunch at Jindian restaurant. After lunch, driving to the Badaling Great Wall. The hike on Badaling Great Wall takes 2 hours. Badaling section is the most famous and best-preserved wall. Its highest point at Badaling is some 800 meters above sea level. Cable car is available and optional.
⑤ On the way to your hotels, we also arrange a short visit to "the Bird Nest"---the main Olympic Stadium now being built for the 2008 Olympic Games. After that, you will have a chance to enjoy the Chinese traditional Silk arts. After the tour, transferred back to your hotels.

Tips for tour guide and driver. The standard is USD 5 for tour guide, USD 3 for driver.

* The benefits of Group tours are: less expensive than private tours, especially when you are travelling alone.
* Something you might not like: Your coach pickups passengers from hotel to hotel, limited visiting time on some attractions.
* Shopping: Passengers have different interest, usually we will visit 2 souvenir shops in one day tour.
