Tung Chung Fort Tung Chung Fort, listed as one of the historical monuments, was built in 1817 in Hongkong with the objective of defending the coast from pirates and suppressing the opium trade. The fort has 6 old cannons and the enclosures are made of granite. The ruins of the Tung Chung Battery are also located in the vicinity.
Tai O Tai O is a three centuries old fishing town known for its hundreds of stilt houses. The town retains much of its legacy such as waterways, stilt houses and fishing boats. Tourists don't fail to traditional Chinese food like salted fish and shrimp paste here.
