Jinshitan Scenic Area, also known as the Golden Pebble Beach National Resort, is one of the premium tourist destinations of Dalian. It is situated in the Liaodong Peninsula and facing the Huanghai River.

Some of the geological wonders that you can see while touring the eastern peninsula include hundreds of grotesque rocks in various shapes resembling camels, turtles, dinosaurs, tigers, etc. The biggest sediment rock of the peninsula is Longevous Rock, which was formed 600,000 years ago. All these natural wonders are spread across an area of 8 kilometers along the coast line.
