Pick up from your hotel in Beijing around 6:00pm. Then drive to Beijing Night Show Theatre. Upon arrival at the theatre, you will be taken to your seat with the assistance of both your tour guide and theatre staff that appoint in the fifth row.

The first half of the show begins with a banquet of exquisite Chinese delicacies from different eras of Chinese history. Audience is treated to enjoy the Shang Dynasty and the Chun Qiu period while, onstage, musicians play traditional Chinese instruments. The creators of the show wisely ruled out any dialogue, thus short-circuiting language barrier headaches that non-Chinese speakers often run into at cultural events. After dinner, three performances are held, lead by selections of Peking opera. Next on the schedule is a 40-minute Grand China dance performance followed by a demonstration of Chinese kung fu. Beijing Night Show is the city's only venue for dinner theatre with traditional Chinese performances. Though the quality of the shows generally surpasses that of the food, it has become a magnet for foreign tourists. The show ends and you will be transferred back to your hotel around 10:00pm.
