Overview: For an exotic evening of food and fantasy Arabian style, this is the place. The interior has gilded ceilings and waiters dressed in formal evening wear. Pleasant hutong ambience, unusually comfy chairs, and friendly, knowledgeable attentive service.
Address: Gong Ren Ti Yu Chang North Road at East Third Ring Road Beijing, 11 100027 China

Ordered Food: I started with the poppadums, perfectly crisp and freshly made, served with chutney coriander dip. Very more-ish, and the waiter asked if I wanted another helping, pointing out that it was complementary.
Then as a starter, samosa, a house special. Probably better for two, but being in a greedy mood I scoffed the lot. The chicken was succulent and tender, washed down with a few cold kingfisher, a perfect relaxing start to a lazy Friday afternoon.
Verdict: Excellent quality is matched by attentive service with a real attention to detail and willingness to explain the menu.
